Users of Crystal Reports and other Business Objects products can now join the Users Group. There is no cost or purchase necessary. This is a Business Objects sanctioned user's group and is sponsored by Result Data Consulting a regional Business Objects partner based in Columbus, OH. The Seattle Area Business Objects User Group meets 3 times a year, in locations around the Puget Sound.  Come and meet other Business Objects users, learn about new developments and products from Business Objects, and discover what other local users are doing with their Business Objects implementations.  There is no charge to attend.

We are excited to be back at Pacific Life in May.  We have heard from many Users that the drive to Los Angeles for meetings is tough, so, we have scheduled a May meeting in Orange County.  We are looking forward to getting together to hear from Business Objects what is new in Enterprise 3.0, and specifically what is involved when migrating from 6.5 or XI-R2 to Enterprise 3.0.  We also had many attendees at our February Meeting ask for a presentation on Crystal Reports and Crystal Xcelsius, and our presentaion of these exciting products will include some technical information, some application information, and a presenation from one of our Users who is currently using this technology.

We will be starting the meeting at 11:30am (11:00 am registration and check in), and have a variety of topics to cover on tips and techniques for Designing Universes, using Universe in Crystal Reports and the resulting behavior, as well as a presentation on XI 3.0 Security. Business Objects is also scheduled to speak, and I will provide more information when I get it from them. The Bay Area Business Objects Crystal User Group (BABOCUG) holds meetings three times per year in the San Francisco Bay area. The meetings are open to all users of Crystal and Business Objects software (and anyone else interested in our presentations).

There are no costs or fees to attend the meetings. These meetings (usually held for 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon) offer a chance to interact with other users in your area. You'll also see some interesting technical sessions and a chance to see the latest updates to Business Objects software.

Kentucky Business Objects-Crystal User Group (KBOCUG) welcomes analysts, developers, end users, and managers who are interested in learning more about Business Objects-Crystal products and in creating a forum for sharing information and learning new technologies. It is our goal to collectively achieve two-way communication with the Business Objects Corporation, its Partners, and third party vendors to learn about new product capabilities and to discuss and resolve technical issues with the products. We provide unbiased information and specialized learning opportunities regarding Business Objects-Crystal software products and related products from other complimentary manufacturers.
